Finance & Accounts and Internal Audit Divisions-Trainees

QUALIFICATION

Intermediate (Commerce) with at least 70% aggregate marks and an A Grade in Accounting or London/Cambridge G.C.E (A-level). Moreover, a minimum of two passes at Advanced Level (A-Level) and one of the advanced level passes must be in accounting with at least Grade-A and no other pass with below Grade C. Finance & Accounts and Internal Audit Divisions-Trainees

Commerce Graduates/BBAs (16 years of education) from renowned universities duly recognized by HEC of Pakistan with a minimum 70% or 3.00 CGPA. The prospective candidates must have the skill of MS Office.

If You Are Selected As an Applicant

1. State Life will offer the post as “Finance & Accounts and Internal Audit - Trainee”.
2. The period of training will be for five years from the date of joining.
3. The selected candidates will be required to pass at least one paper in the first two years; otherwise, their training will be discontinued.

All selected trainees shall be required to pass the Graduation Level: (eleven papers) from the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP)/ On the passing of the Knowledge & Skills Module: (Nine papers) from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) / Management level: (Nine Papers) from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). In case a trainee fails to get absorbed in regular service of SLIC within five years, then his training will be discontinued.

• The successful trainees will be offered regular employment upon acquiring the requisite papers as mentioned above subject to satisfactory conduct and performance during the training.
•  After regular absorption in SLIC, they will also be promoted to the next cadres upon passing further examination as per the terms and conditions of the contract.
• The trainees will be under the discipline of State Life Employees (Service) Regulations, 1973, and any other laws & rules applicable to employees of State Life. During the period of training medical treatment for trainees (only) will also be allowed and for leave and conduct, State Life Employees (Service) Regulations 1973 will be applicable.
• Upon appointment, the incumbents can be posted anywhere in Pakistan. The place of posting during the period of training shall be decided by the management.

A qualification allowance will be admissible as per rules when placed under a regular cadre.

Other Terms and Conditions as per the employment contract shall also apply.

• Just shortlisted up-and-comers will be required a test/interview. The up-and-comer should pay expenses straightforwardly to the testing organization against the underlying screening test as and when expected by the testing office (if any).

 No TA/DA will be allowable for the test/interview.
